Armani Figurines are the legacy to his artistic genius that will continue to live on for generations in his exquisite creations.

Armani figurines are made in Italy from the finest porcelain. Master Sculpture Giuseppe Armani has given his breathtaking creations such realism, character and soul; he seems to have infused life itself into each of his Armani figurines.

Armani figurines evolved from the magnificent concepts of Giuseppe Armani, who was born in the village of Calci, Italy, in 1935. At a very early age the extreme details of his drawings impressed everyone and separated him from the talents of all other children.

It was not long before Giuseppe’s true talents were recognized, when a local priest organized an exhibition for young artist. Giuseppe entered his classically styled male torso, it was so admired for its astonishing anatomical accuracy, and it was taken to the Art Gallery in Pisa.

The owners of the gallery were so amazed with the beauty and exactness of his work; they rewarded his talent with the offer of a permanent position. This was his dream. Now perfecting his own personal style Armani figurines would start to become a reality as admirers from everywhere started flocking to the gallery to see the exquisite detailing of his latest creations.

The Florence Sculpture d’Arte offered him a position creating completely hand-made Armani figurines exclusively for their studio in 1975. With a promise of complete artistic freedom to design his Armani figurines he accepted.

In the 31 years that followed he crafted Armani figurines masterpieces. These from the “Capodimonte” style series of children and animals, to his mystical sculpted modern Armani figurines characters with a soul that never ceases to amaze and intrigue all of us.

Some of the Armani figurines everyone will recognize are; “Gulliver’s World” from 1980, “Valentine” from 1982, the classical theme of “spring Melodies” of 1986 and “magic Memories” and the charm and flair of “My Fair Ladies” both from 1987.

Many of the most popular Armani figurines were fashioned for Disney. These magical Armani contemporary figurines are Giuseppe’s interpretation of Disney’s most treasured characters including world famous; Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, the Little Mermaid, and Jiminy Cricket along with many others.

A few sculptors that worked closely with the master on Armani figurines were Fabrizio Tani, Paolo Leoncini and David Thomas Lytteton, most assuredly to carry on in his tradition.

The creator of Armani figurines tragically passed away of a massive stroke in October of 2006, but he will live on through his art. We will enjoy for a lifetime just looking at the timeless works of art he crafted into all of his Armani figurines.
